Pack 527: Hiking!
Scouts and Parents!
The Hiking Club was established to help encourage our scouts and
their families to get outside, to get healthy and active, and to develop
important skills in areas such as camping and backpacking. If your
scout plans to continue in scouting as a Boy Scout, these activities
will become even more central to their scouting experiences. The
purpose of this page is to keep everyone up-to-date on our Pack's
hiking activities, with information on future hikes and updates on
recent hikes. Check out the Hiking Mileage Chart link to the right.
You can track the miles your scout's own hiking accomplishments.

minimal nasty surprises and age
appropriate, and a first kit and BSA
tour permit are "musts". Help our
scouts learn to love the outdoors and
prepare them for Boy Scouts!

| Pack 527 join us on our first official hike of the year! Date: Sunday, October 10, 2010 Time: Meet at 0900 hours Where: Paramount Ranch - 2813 Cornell Road, Agoura Hills, CA 91301 Meet in the parking lot near the bridge. This will be a great easy hike to introduce our new Tigers and families to Cub Scout Hiking. The hike will be approximately 2 miles, plus the exploration of the Western movie set, which the boys and their siblings can explore. A picnic lunch will follow at the location (Bring your own).
